MATES Theatre Genesis, established in 1990, is the longest-running community theatre group in the Redlands, Queensland. Affectionately known as MATES, the group offers a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to engage in various aspects of theatre, including acting, backstage roles, and front-of-house operations. Their activities encompass theatrical productions, workshops, StageworX script reading sessions, Theatre Jam events, and youth theatre programs. Performances are held at multiple venues, including the Birkdale School of Arts Hall, 101 Birkdale Road, Birkdale 4159.
