Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre

Nestled beside picturesque Lake Apex in Gatton, the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre is a vibrant hub that opened in November 2009. It houses the Lockyer Valley Visitor Information Centre, offering insights into local attractions and a selection of locally crafted gourmet and artisan products. The Art Gallery hosts dynamic visual art exhibitions every 6-8 weeks, while the Queensland Transport Museum showcases a remarkable collection of transport history. Additional amenities include the Gatton Library, Colonial Café, function rooms, and accessible facilities. Outdoor spaces feature public BBQs, picnic areas, a playground, skatepark, walking tracks, and a bird hide. The parklands also host a weekly Park Run every Saturday morning.
