The Lithgow Show Society, established in 1885, hosts the annual Lithgow Show, a cherished event that showcases the best of Lithgow. The show features animal displays, carnival rides, cooking, art and craft competitions, poultry judging, motorbikes, utes, and show bags. Visitors can enjoy live music, the grand parade, fireworks, and a variety of food offerings. The 2025 show is scheduled for March 14-15, celebrating its 140th anniversary.
