Lismore Gemfest, established in 1990 by the Lismore Gem and Lapidary Club Inc., is Australia's largest annual gem and mineral show. Held at the Lismore Showgrounds, it features over 140 tailgaters and dealers offering a vast array of minerals, gems, fossils, jewellery, and equipment from around the world. The event includes engaging activities for all ages, such as fossicking on the hill, lucky dips, and a colouring competition. Visitors can also enjoy displays and demonstrations by club members. Ample on-site parking is available, and a free shuttle bus service operates from the CBD.
