Kulja, WA

Kulja is a small town in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region, approximately 253 kilometers northeast of Perth. Established in the late 1920s as a railway siding on the Ejanding Northwards line, it was gazetted in 1928. The town's name derives from the Indigenous Australian term for a nearby soak. Surrounding areas produce wheat and other cereal crops, with Kulja serving as a receiving site for Cooperative Bulk Handling. Notable nearby attractions include Mollerin Rock and Petrudor Rocks, popular for hiking and picnicking.
