Jervis Bay Marine Park

Jervis Bay Marine Park, established in 1998, spans approximately 210 square kilometers along the New South Wales coast, encompassing over 100 kilometers of coastline from Kinghorn Point to Sussex Inlet. This protected area features diverse habitats, including beaches, reefs, and estuaries, and is home to a variety of marine life such as seals, penguins, seabirds, dolphins, and migrating whales. Visitors can engage in activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, surfing, and fishing, with certain zones designated as sanctuary areas where fishing is prohibited to preserve the ecosystem. The surrounding Jervis Bay National Park offers scenic walking trails with panoramic views of the bay and its landscapes.
