Nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, Horsnell Gully Conservation Park offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and historical intrigue. The park features a network of walking trails, including sections of the Heysen and Yurrebilla trails, that wind through steep gullies and wooded hillsides, providing stunning views of the surrounding region. Along these trails, visitors can discover remnants of the Horsnell family's homestead, such as coaching sheds, stables, and cowsheds, as well as the original garden marked by elm, plum, and orange trees. The park is also home to diverse native wildlife, including western grey kangaroos, koalas, and short-beaked echidnas. Entry is free, and the park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
