Hampstead Barracks, located in Greenacres, South Australia, serves as a key Australian Army base approximately 6 km north of Adelaide's central business district. Situated at the intersection of Hampstead and Muller Roads, the base encompasses less than 24 acres. It is home to the Adelaide Universities Regiment, an Army Reserve officer training unit, which operates its Regimental Headquarters and various companies. The base also hosts the Tom Derrick VC Soldiers' Club, named after the World War II Victoria Cross recipient. Additionally, several cadet units, including the 4 Flight of No. 604 Squadron Australian Air Force Cadets, are based here.
