De Jarlais Pavilion

The De Jarlais Function Centre, known as "De Jays," is a fully air-conditioned, two-level venue located at the Cairns Showgrounds in Parramatta Park. Ideal for weddings, formal events, cocktail celebrations, birthdays, and anniversaries, it also accommodates smaller trade shows, workshops, seminars, and meetings. The upper level features large timber bay windows offering expansive views of the Cairns mountains and the main arena, with a capacity of up to 250 seated or 350 standing guests. Amenities include a fully functioning bar, commercial kitchen, restrooms, and an accessible lift. The ground level serves as a versatile space for pre-event receptions, storage, or temporary retail setups. Conveniently situated near the main entrance off Mulgrave Road and Severin Street, the venue offers ample off-street parking and is just minutes from the Cairns CBD. Please note that venue hire is not available in July due to the annual Cairns Show.
