Crawford's Lookout

Crawford's Lookout, situated along the Palmerston Highway in Wooroonooran National Park, offers a picturesque view of the North Johnstone River gorge. This easily accessible spot provides a glimpse of the river's horseshoe bend amidst the surrounding rainforest. Adjacent to the lookout, the North Johnstone Lookout Track descends 500 meters over 1.5 kilometers, leading to a grassy area overlooking the river and Douglas Creek. For those interested in further exploration, the Wallicher Falls and Gooligans picnic area track begins approximately 2 kilometers uphill from the lookout, offering additional scenic experiences.
