Corio Villa Estate, constructed in 1856, is Australia's first prefabricated cast iron house, situated at 56 Eastern Beach Road, Geelong. Commissioned by Scottish iron founders Charles D. Young & Co., the villa was designed by Bell & Miller and originally purchased by William Narin Gray, Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Portland Bay district. After Gray's death, Alfred Douglas acquired the unclaimed pieces, leading to the villa's assembly on its current site. The residence features ornate cast iron filigree, bevelled columns, and decorative urns, reflecting its historical and architectural significance.
