Open 363 days a year, the TOMRA Reverse Vending Machine operates Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Users can return up to 100 containers per minute, receiving refunds digitally via a Containers for Change scheme ID, as cash vouchers, or by donating to a charity. Accepted containers include most beverage containers between 150ml and 3L made from aluminium, glass, plastic, steel, and liquid paperboard. Containers should be uncrushed with labels intact for proper scanning. From November 1, 2023, glass wine and spirit bottles are eligible for a 10-cent refund.
