Cobar Miners Heritage Park

Located on the Barrier Highway in Cobar, the Cobar Mining Heritage Park offers an immersive journey into the region's rich mining history. Set amidst beautifully manicured gardens, the park features significant mining installations, including a restored stamper battery from the Mount Boppy Mine and a loader from the CSA Mine. A two-meter bronze sculpture of a miner stands as a tribute to the community's heritage. The recently opened Cobar Miners Memorial at the park's entrance honors those who have died in local mines and from mining-related diseases, providing a poignant reminder of the industry's impact.
