Ceduna, SA

Housed in Ceduna's first school building from 1912, the Ceduna School House Museum showcases a rich collection of local history. Exhibits include Aboriginal artefacts, items related to the Maralinga Village British nuclear tests (1956–1963), and a plaster cast of a 25-foot basking shark found at Fowlers Bay in 1914. The complex also features the Denial Bay Gaol, machinery sheds, a blacksmith’s shop, a church, and a cottage. Visitors can explore restored farm machinery and household items used by pioneering families. Open Monday to Saturday; closed Sundays.
