Carols by Candlelight is an annual Christmas event held at Riverway Complex in Thuringowa Central, Queensland. The 2024 celebration took place on Sunday, December 8, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The event featured performances by the 1 RAR band, the Townsville Choral Society Choir, and local artists, along with a special visit from Santa. Attendees enjoyed food stalls, arts and craft workshops, and roving entertainment. Gates opened at 4:00 PM, with the pre-show starting at 5:00 PM and the main show at 6:30 PM. Visitors were encouraged to bring picnic blankets and chairs.
