The Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre (BRAC) serves as the central hub for sports and recreation in the Shire of Broome. It features an eight-lane, 25-meter swimming pool with a retractable shade sail, a shallow lagoon pool, spa area, and water spray features. The centre also offers an indoor stadium, two squash courts, eight tennis courts, four outdoor netball/basketball courts, and two multi-use sporting fields. BRAC hosts various sporting organizations and community clubs, providing facilities for AFL, athletics, basketball, cricket, rugby league, netball, soccer, squash, swimming, tennis, and touch football. The centre is also the official Cyclone Welfare Centre for the Shire of Broome.
