Barolin Nature Reserve, located near Bargara, Queensland, spans over 300 hectares of lush bushland, offering a haven for nature enthusiasts. The reserve is home to more than 120 species of native plants and over 135 species of wildlife, including the Sacred Kingfisher, Rose-crowned Fruit Dove, and Grey Fantail. Notably, it features the largest vegetation of Silver-leaved Paperbark trees in South East Queensland and shelters the rare Clausena Smyrelliana plant. Visitors can enjoy walking trails up to 5 kilometers one way, with access points at Bargara Road near Bargara State School, the end of Davidson Street, Mon Repos Road, and Turtle Trail intersections. It's recommended to bring a water bottle, mobile phone, insect repellent, and binoculars for birdwatching.
