Arcoona, located approximately 28 kilometers northeast of Woomera in South Australia's outback, is a pastoral lease operating as a sheep station. Established before 1880, it spans 2,145 square kilometers and shares borders with Wirraminna to the south and Andamooka Station to the north. The area enjoys over 300 sunny days annually, making it ideal for solar power generation. Collectively, homes in the region have installed 116 kW of solar panels, producing an average of 559 kWh per day and reducing the community's carbon footprint by 46.92 tonnes each year.
