Annandale Neighbourhood Centre

Located at 79 Johnston Street, Annandale, the Annandale Community Centre is a historic civic building constructed in 1899. Once the Annandale Council Chambers and Town Hall, it now serves as a vibrant community hub. The centre offers a variety of facilities, including an upstairs hall suitable for gentle exercise or dance classes, social gatherings, meetings, and music events. Amenities feature a piano, small kitchen, ceiling fans, heaters, trestle tables, and chairs. The centre also hosts diverse programs such as the Annandale Drawing Group, craft sessions, the 'Singing for All' Choir, Tai Chi classes, and support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Life Force Carers Group. Additionally, it provides services like Justice of the Peace by appointment and Tax Help during tax season. The centre is currently undergoing refurbishment, with completion expected in July 2025.
