Aileron Roadhouse

Aileron Roadhouse, situated along the Stuart Highway in Anmatjere, offers travelers a welcoming stop with a range of amenities. The roadhouse features a collection of original Albert Namatjira watercolour paintings, showcasing the work of one of the Northern Territory's most renowned Aboriginal artists. Accommodations include powered and unpowered campsites, backpacker dormitories, and self-contained motel rooms. Additional facilities encompass a swimming pool, BBQ picnic area, and a convenience store. The iconic Anmatjere Man sculpture, standing 17 meters tall and weighing 8 tonnes, overlooks the roadhouse and the surrounding region, serving as a notable landmark visible from the highway.
