1st Picnic Point Scout Group

Nestled along the river at Picnic Point, 1st Picnic Point Scout Group offers engaging youth development activities for children aged 5 to 18. The group operates across four units: Joey Scouts (5-8 years), Cub Scouts (8-11 years), Scouts (11-14 years), and Venturer Scouts (14-18 years), each meeting on designated evenings throughout the week. Members participate in a variety of fun activities, including optional weekend and holiday events. The scout hall features a spacious grassed area with direct river access, ideal for canoeing and kayaking. Additionally, the local National Park provides opportunities for walking and other outdoor adventures. The group welcomes adult volunteers, including parent helpers and scout leaders, fostering a family-friendly environment that values diversity and inclusivity.
