Wentworth Showgrounds

The Wentworth Showgrounds, located at Pavilion Road, Wentworth NSW 2648, is a vibrant community hub that hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The centerpiece is the Wentworth Showgrounds Community Pavilion, a modern facility completed in December 2020, replacing the historic Barrett Pavilion. Officially opened by Deputy Premier Paul Toole on 31 January 2023, the pavilion offers ample meeting and display spaces, a large kitchen, and accessible amenities, making it ideal for community gatherings and events. The grounds are also home to the annual Wentworth Show, a true country show that showcases local produce, crafts, and entertainment, reflecting the region's rich agricultural heritage. Additionally, the Smoke Show BBQ & Smoked Meats Festival, held on 8 July 2023, attracted around 5,000 attendees, featuring live entertainment, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. These events highlight the Showgrounds' role as a central gathering place for the Wentworth community, offering facilities and activities that cater to a wide range of interests.
