Freeman's Reach RFS Brigade

Nestled in the foothills of the Hawkesbury District, Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade serves a vibrant community approximately 60 kilometers northwest of Sydney. Established in 1951, the brigade operates from a modern three-bay station on Kurmond Road, featuring training rooms, a kitchen, and storerooms. The brigade responds to an average of 30 to 50 calls annually, addressing grass and bushfires, structural fires, motor vehicle accidents, and assisting with storm damage and floods. Beyond emergency response, the brigade actively engages in community events, including school and church fetes, fundraising activities, and the RFS Open Day. The brigade's rich history reflects a deep commitment to the safety and well-being of the Freemans Reach community.
