Terry Hie Hie Aboriginal Area, established in 2005, is a significant cultural reserve in New South Wales, Australia. Once a ceremonial and gathering place for the Gamilaroi (Gomeroi, Gamileroi, Gamileraay) people, it now offers visitors a tranquil setting to explore Aboriginal heritage. The area features at least 240 axe-grinding grooves, a corroboree ground, a bora ring, carved and scarred trees, and two Aboriginal cemeteries. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, birdwatching, and walking along the Yana-y Warruwi track, immersing themselves in the rich cultural and natural beauty of the region.
