Hunts Well, located 3 kilometers south of Tammin, is a historic site commemorating explorer Charles Cooke Hunt's contributions to Western Australia's development. In 1865, Hunt's team constructed this well as part of a series of water sources along the Old Goldfields Road, vital for stockmen and gold prospectors traveling to Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie. The well and nearby Tammin Tank have been restored by the local community, preserving their original appearance. Today, Hunts Well serves as a popular picnic spot, offering a glimpse into the region's pioneering history.
