Dave Groom is a contemporary Australian landscape artist based in Beechmont, Queensland. Living and working on the edge of Lamington National Park, he draws inspiration from the surrounding mountains and valleys. His family has deep roots in the area, with his grandfather establishing Binna Burra Lodge and his grandmother, Margorie Groom, being a renowned potter. Dave's art practice is a daily ritual, involving drawing, painting, and observing the ever-changing natural environment. He has exhibited extensively, with recent solo exhibitions including "Through the Trees" at Petrie Terrace Gallery in Brisbane. His works are available for viewing and purchase at his Studio Gallery in Beechmont.
