
Chilla Well, located approximately 995 kilometers south of Darwin and 300 kilometers northwest of Alice Springs, is a remote locality in the Northern Territory of Australia. The area encompasses about 22,110 square kilometers, including parts of the Central Desert, Mala, Yuendumu, and Yunkanjini Aboriginal Land Trusts. The Tanami Road traverses Chilla Well, connecting Mount Doreen Station to Halls Creek in Western Australia. Notably, Chilla Well surrounds the Yuendumu community and partially borders the Mount Doreen Station pastoral property. As of the 2016 Australian census, Chilla Well had no residents.
