SPANNER Man Sculpture Garden

Nestled in Barraport, Victoria, the SPANNER Man Sculpture Garden showcases the late John Piccoli's artistic prowess. Spanning two hectares of meticulously maintained lawns and gardens, the space is home to approximately fifty sculptures crafted from reclaimed farm spanners sourced across Victoria. These life-sized creations, including horses, bulls, fish, mermaids, and men, exhibit a remarkable lifelike quality despite their unconventional materials. The garden also features enclosures housing a variety of brightly colored and often rare bird species, reflecting John's passion for avian life. Guided tours are available at 10:30 am and 2 pm from Tuesday to Sunday, with an entry fee of $15 for adults and $5 for children. Visitors are encouraged to book in advance, especially for large groups or bus tours.
