Calivil Recreation Reserve

Calivil Recreation Reserve, located on Prairie West Road in Calivil, Victoria, is a vibrant community hub offering a variety of facilities for all ages. The securely fenced playground features shade sails, a wave slide, fireman's pole, tunnel, ladder, steering wheel, and shape-themed panel, along with a see-saw and bike springer under shade. Additional amenities include a rope spider's web climbing frame, plastic basketball hoop, horizontal bars, swing, and monkey bars. A shelter with two tables, a BBQ, and a water tap is available, and the reserve also provides toilet facilities. The Calivil Lawn Tennis Club, situated within the reserve, offers five grass courts and two hardcourts, with the hardcourts available for public use. The club fosters community engagement through social and competitive tennis events. The Calivil United Football Netball Club, also based at the reserve, caters to various skill levels and is a member of the Loddon Valley Football Netball League. Additionally, the reserve is home to the Calivil and District War Memorial, honoring those who served in the First and Second World Wars and the Vietnam War. The Calivil Hall, located within the reserve, commemorates the pioneers of the Calivil district.
