Established in the 1880s, Alma Park in Uralla is a historic landmark named after Alma O'Connor, who planted the first of many trees here in 1893. The park features grand old trees, vibrant springtime flower beds, and a meandering pathway leading to the picturesque Uralla Creek. Visitors can enjoy a locally forged iron lace rotunda and an aging footbridge, with options to continue on to the Mount Mutton walking trail. Amenities include toilets, a children's playground, Liberty Swing, and two free electric barbecues. The park also hosts activities during the Thunderbolt's Festival each October.
