Tom Groggin Rest Area

Tom Groggin Campground, nestled along the upper Murray River in Kosciuszko National Park, offers a serene camping experience amidst stunning mountain and riverside vistas. Accessible via the Alpine Way between Khancoban and Thredbo, this campground provides ample space for relaxed camping in open areas. It's a favored base for mountain bikers and bushwalkers exploring the National Trail, with nearby attractions like the Geehi huts and Scammells and Olsens lookouts. The area is rich in native wildlife, including eastern grey kangaroos, emus, echidnas, and various bird species. Please note, there are no drinking water facilities on-site, so visitors should bring their own supplies.
