The school operated as a boarding institution, providing education and agricultural training to male students. Its expansive 12,275-hectare farm supported various agricultural activities, including cropping and livestock farming. The campus featured notable structures such as the Central Building, St Mary's Convent, and St Mary's Chapel, reflecting the architectural influence of John Cyril Hawes. The school ceased operations in 2008, and the property was subsequently listed for sale.
