Old Errowanbang Wool Shed

Nestled 70 kilometers south of Bathurst, the Old Errowanbang Woolshed is a heritage-listed marvel built in 1886. Designed by architect Watts, this unique structure spans four levels, each serving distinct functions in the shearing process. The shed boasts 40 shearing stands, with 26 preserved for traditional hand shearing, offering a rare glimpse into historical wool harvesting methods. Constructed from white cypress pine, it stands as a testament to the craftsmanship of its era.
