Stotts Creek Resource Recovery Centre (Tip)

Stotts Creek Resource Recovery Centre, located on Leddays Creek Road in Stotts Creek, NSW, serves as the primary waste management facility for the Tweed community. The centre accepts a variety of materials, including general solid waste, construction and demolition debris, asbestos (on weekdays before 2:30 pm), and a range of recyclable and problem wastes. Recent upgrades have enhanced its functionality, featuring a state-of-the-art weighbridge, improved site entrance with a roundabout, expanded parking, and dedicated areas for the Tweed JUNKtion Tip Shop. The facility operates Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:45 pm, and weekends and public holidays from 9 am to 3:45 pm. Notably, the centre processes organic waste into compost, contributing to the community's sustainability efforts.
